Q. Can I send a .jpg, .gif file
Yes only for viewing. These files are usually lower resolution
and will not reproduce well at all. We need a higher res. file
like .tif or .psd. These files should be sent at a resolution of
300+ at actual size.

Can I send a .tif or .psd.
Yes for viewing purposes only. Art for 2 or 3 color will require
it be created in a vector based program. Raster images can only
be separated as 4 color process.

Convert all fonts to
paths, outlines or curves. (Text converted to paths can no longer be
edited as text.)
Multiple color jobs should be created using spot color mode
rather than process color mode.
Include all EPS and Tiff files used in
creating your document.
Do not email files larger than 3 meg. Large files should be
compressed by using Winzip or saved to a zip disk than mailed
or shipped to us.
When creating artwork, remember that our printing process may
require the "trapping" of colors on multi-color jobs.
If possible, send proofs of color separations for multiple color
Please do not send an original file. Make a copy before
facts to know about sending artwork.
Because of the
many various products we sell, the specific art requirements vary
on some items. Over the years we have found that vector (line) art
works best for most products.
Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw and Freehand work well for
saving and exporting vector art.
Remember, these are the
best ways of sending us artwork. If for some reason
you can't get the artwork to us in one of these formats we can
work out other options. If you have any questions at all about art
requirements just call or email us. We are very interested in your
business and will try to be as helpful as possible.
jobs will require at least some minimal form of art/setup. This is
a one time fee that covers color separating, creating traps, film
positives, etc. The closer the supplied art is to a print ready
state, the cheaper the one time set up fee will be. Our art/setup
charge is $45.00 per hour. Once we see the provided art work, we
can give quotes for art/setup. All we can do is estimate the
art/setup fee until we see the art.
